    • Sustainability is a strategic asset for enterprises, a powerful engine guiding citizens’ buying habits and life choices. The principles of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance), that is, non-financial criteria offering an understanding and a yardstick of companies’ commitment to sustainable development, are based on the UN 2030 Agenda: 17 Goals, expressed through 169 targets intended to guide the actions of nations, enterprises and people.

This Learning Path, created with the scientific contribution of Silvia Camisasca, explores the United Nations’ strategy and recommends a number of simple things you can do every day to contribute to sustainability.

The 17 Goals of the 2030 Agenda are presented, divided into 5 areas:

      • People. Fight poverty and social exclusion and promote good health and well-being.
      • Planet. Ensure sustainable management of natural resources protecting biodiversity.
      • Prosperity. Build sustainable models of production and consumption, along with opportunities for employment and quality education.
      • Peace. Promote a non-violent, inclusive society and eliminate illegality.
      • Partnership. Intervene in an integrated, coordinated fashion on sustainability issues. Discover the targets, progress achieved, the experts’ focuses and the challenges remaining to be faced world-wide: we must build sustainability together, day by day!
